Human Resources Generalist
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Reports To: Human Resources Manager
Physical Requirements: Normal Office Environment
Hours of Work: Full Time, 37.5 hour per week
Pay Range: The pay range is $22.86 to $31.92
Job Qualifications:
- High School diploma and a minimum of 3 years of related experience required.
- Bachelor's degree with concentration in HR or related field and a minimum of 1 year of related experience preferred.
- Must possess strong interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to take initiative, work independently, set priorities and meet deadlines.
- Sensitivity to Agency needs, employee goodwill, and public image.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
- Ability to provide honest, constructive and meaningful feedback and demonstrate the ability to remain objective.
- Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
- Valid NYS drivers license that meets agency standards and reliable transportation required.
Major Responsibilities:
- Employee Relations to include investigations, discipline, exit interview, staff advisory, etc.
- Coach and facilitate management team on HR issues.
- Assist employees with benefits administration.
- Provide support to employee training and recruitment.
- Other duties assigned by supervisor.
