Soccer or Volleyball Officials & Scorekeepers - open until filled

Job Summary

The Liberty County Board of Commissioners is currently accepting applications for seasonal Volleyball or Soccer Officials and Volleyball Scorekeepers within the Recreation Department. This position is responsible for accurately recording a game's score and/or enforcing the rules of the game.

Major Job Duties/Requirements

• Applicants must have knowledge of the rules of the sport being played and the ability to read and understand written instructions.
• Applicants must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions and be available to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• All job offers are contingent upon successful completion of drug screening and background investigation.

Compensation & Work Schedule

This is a seasonal position working part-time hours typically Monday - Thursday, 5:00pm - 9:00pm (or until the game ends). The work schedule will vary to include some nights and weekends. Location of position could vary from the Shuman Center, Sam Harris Gym, Lewis Fraser Middle, or Riceboro Youth Center. Compensation is as follows:

• Scorekeepers (Recreation Aide) - $13.66 hourly
• Sports Official - $33.92 hourly
