Position Summary: This position serves as a Housekeeping Team member, ensuring the upkeep and cleanliness of Liberty. This position also serves as a Setup team member, setting up classrooms and spaces for meetings and events.
Ministry Department: Facilities
Position Reports To: Campus Pastor
Hours: This is a part-time position consisting of 8 hours per week.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Coordinate and supervise the setup for Special Events and weekly ministry activities within the campus.
- Ensure trash removal is completed as needed throughout the campus.
- Oversee the emptying and filling of the baptistry as required.
- Manage the setup and takedown of Kids Ministry and Student Large Group rooms for Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings.
- Ensure Gathering Areas are properly organized for Sunday mornings.
- Supervise the preparation of Worship Center chairs and seatbacks.
- Oversee weekly dusting and spot cleaning to maintain cleanliness.
- Ensure the campus looks and feels like we are pursuing excellence as a core value of our church.
General Responsibilities:

- Faithfully maintains discretion and effectively deals with sensitive and/or confidential information of a written and spoken nature.
- Uses independent judgment to determine work priorities.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the Campus Pastor.
- Is a loyal staff member by cooperating with and following the leadership of the church.
- Follows Liberty’s policies and procedures.
- Works in coordination with the overall mission, goals, and objectives of the church, which are summarized by the mission statement “Changing Lives, Communities and the World for Jesus Christ.”
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities:
- Some knowledge of carpentry, electricity, painting, and general maintenance problems is helpful.
- Ability to use detergents and chemicals in a safe way.
- Ability to work well with staff members and others.
- Ability to use a lift.
- Flexibility for outside events.
Conditions And Physical Requirements:
The job will primarily be carried out all around the building and require walking, standing, as well as bending and carrying some moderately heavy items up to 50 lbs. The job will require the ability to move chairs and other furniture around to accommodate setup needs.
