Job Details:
Mechanical Engineer Design & Service
Aftermarket Design Engineer.
Collaborate with clients to define requirements.
Design and BoM structuring of change parts for existing installations and new machine sales.
Mechanical design upgrades for existing installations.
Design support for new product development and new machine sales.
Deliver end-to-end technical solutions and mechanical drawings using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360.
Field support of existing installations to include:
Initial installations of individual machines or End of Line Cells.
Service of prior installations that may include upgrades or diagnosis of performance issues.
Service machine mechanical troubleshooting
Excellent hands on mechanical, electro-mechanical skills, machine controls, robotics, etc.
Familiar with GD&T, assembly, fabrication, jigs, tooling, etc.
Familiar with automation systems integration.
Familiar with pneumatics, AC DC, servo controls, motion controls, sensors, etc.
Lead and support FAT/SAT documentation and protocols execution at client facilities.
Improve efficiency and facilitated seamless machine installations and go-live production.
Managed electrical tasks including wiring, Ethernet setup, troubleshooting, and controls.
Provide system reliability and minimize downtime.
Develop tailored recipes for production lines, work orders, configured databases using SQL, and updated PLCs with RSLogix 500
Troubleshooting of technical and physical issues both remotely and on-site.
Create comprehensive training documents that enhance team operations, strengthen client trust, and foster long-term relationships.
Some travel included.
