We are currently seeking an experienced :
PAYROLL SPECIALIST
Job Description :
- Prepare and process multiple payrolls weekly in Lawson S3 system utilizing Work Force Mgmt. Web Time and Healthwyse.
- Prepare and maintain assigned payroll 941's and cash flow spreadsheets.
- Set up direct deposit information. Follow up as needed with facilities to ensure direct deposit information is complete.
- Forward unemployment claims to appropriate facility. Partner with the appropriate facility to ensure timely processing of claims.
- Prepare and type quarterly reports, e.g. 940, 941, SUTA, etc.
- Process 401k transmissions and deferred compensation.
- Set up, prepare and process garnishments for assigned payrolls. Coordinate with accounting to ensure prompt accurate payments to garnishee.
- Prepare and process year-end reports, W-2's, Annual Tax Reconciliations, and other State and Federal Reports in compliance with Federal and State requirements.
- Provide assistance as need to ensure ALL payroll processes are complete.
- Partner with HR on dissemination of HR related materials, e.g. 401k, medical / health enrollment and miscellaneous notices as needed.
- Open, sort and distribute mail.
