Life Line Emergency Vehicles is looking for skilled technicians to join our Finishing & Metal Prep Team. If you have experience with hand and power tools and enjoy hands-on work, this is your chance to play a key role in crafting high-quality emergency vehicles.
This is a physically demanding role that requires strength, endurance, and attention to detail. You’ll be responsible for buffing, sanding, priming, and mounting vehicle components, ensuring every unit meets our high-performance standards before hitting the road.
Available Positions:
Buffer & Module Mounting Technician – Buff and finish vehicle surfaces, mount modules and bumpers, and operate tools like drills and torque wrenches.
Metal Prep & Priming Specialist – Prepare metal parts for paint by applying bondo, sanding edges, and priming surfaces.
General Paint Department Technician – Assist with sanding, buffing, and prepping surfaces while maintaining strict quality standards.
What You’ll Do:
✅ Operate hand and power tools, including buffers, drills, hoists, and paint mixers.
✅ Read and follow blueprints, work orders, and production methods.
✅ Work closely with engineering and production teams to meet deadlines.
✅ Follow all safety policies and ensure high-quality workmanship.
✅ Train and assist team members as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
✔️ Hand and power tool experience is required – familiarity with drills, buffers, grinders, or similar tools.
✔️ Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
✔️ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
✔️ Physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs., stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- Indoor shop setting with occasional exposure to outdoor elements.
- Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and precise hand coordination.
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts, temperature changes, and fumes.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
(Some flexibility required for early or extended shifts.)
