Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Intake Coordinator to join our Home Health care team. The Intake Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing patient intake processes, ensuring accurate data entry, and facilitating effective communication between patients and healthcare providers. This position requires strong clerical skills, proficiency in medical software, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient service.

Responsibilities

• Manage the intake process for new patients, including gathering necessary information and documentation.
• Utilize medical software systems such as Healthcare Synergy.
• Schedule appointments efficiently while accommodating patient needs and preferences.
• Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Assist with medical billing and coding tasks.
• Provide clerical support by filing documents, answering phone calls, and responding to inquiries.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to streamline patient care processes.

Experience

• Previous Synergy experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in medical scheduling and familiarity with medical coding and billing practices.
• Strong computer skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills to interact professionally with patients and team members.

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
