We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Part-Time Business Administrator to oversee and manage various administrative and operational functions. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of building facilities, managing office tasks, handling financial responsibilities, and maintaining documentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business administration, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with board members and other stakeholders.
Hours: 20-25 hours/week
Responsibilities:
- Oversee Building Operations
- Ensure smooth functioning of building facilities.
- Office Management
- Maintain office organization and handle administrative tasks.
- Manage HR tasks and approve payroll.
- Financial Management
- Manage the budget.
- Collaborate with the Lead Pastor and consultant to create the budget.
- Work with the bookkeeper and approve accounts payable.
- Ensure timely filing of IRS Form 990s and track grants.
- PEX Accounts Management
- Administer PEX accounts for three organizations.
- Documentation Maintenance
- Keep documentation up-to-date.
- Board Communication
- Maintain communication with Board Members and provide appropriate information.
- Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations, and submit reports.
- Report impact numbers across all departments.
Preferred Experience Level:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business administration or a related field.
Skills:
