What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Records Manager position at LifeHealth LLC?
LifeHealth is looking for a Medical Records Manager to support the Wyoming Army National Guard (WYARNG). This is a regular full time position working five Monday through Friday, nine hour days with every other Friday off. The selected candidate must meet the following responsibilities:
- Will be required to work one weekend a month to prepare Physical Health Assessments (PHA)
- Will use the following web-based electronic data systems to appropriately track and manage the medical readiness of the force: MHS-Gensis, MODS, MEDCHART and PRT
- Scanning, filing and tracking of digital and hard-copy Soldier Treatment Records (STR)
- Initiate, document and follow up of Soldier profiling actions and treatment requirements
- Log contact data and updates with Soldiers, their cases or their unit administrative support in eCase and/or other medical systems
- Initiate, process and track all medical board cases
- Attend PHA events as determined by the needs of the WYARNG and individual unit requirements
- Support Soldiers in becoming medically ready by tracking medical or dental appointments
- Document all cases in eCase within one business day of notification of appointment, lab results, communication or other action related to the Soldier's individual treatment plan
- All other duties and work schedules as outlined by the Performance Work Statement (PWS) associated with this position including possible work on the weekends
Requirements:
- Must be able to clear background investigations for TSG and WYARNG to obtain a government issued Common Access Card (CAC)
- Experience working with military case files is a plus
- Must be able to work one weekend a month to process PHA
