Caregiver Duties and Responsibilities:
- Offering companionship to patients
- Taking clients to their medical appointments, the grocery store and other important places
- Med Reminder
- Meal Prep
- Keeping the house clean and doing laundry when needed
- Keeping proper care records
- Maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment
Advanced Caregiver Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience with Alzheimer’s or dementia care
- Training in any special areas of care you provide
- Hospice care
- Personal care needs toileting, bathing and dressing assistance
Caregiver Requirements:
- Open availability (preferred)
- Clear a background check
- Pass a two-step TB test and provide the results
- Have reliable transportation
- Ability to attend an orientation via Zoom
- Pass a phone screening, and meet in person for a skills check interview
