JOB SUMMARY: The Billing - Collections Specialist is responsible for managing and collecting all the outstanding accounts receivables. In addition, they are responsible for other aspects of collections such as to resolve customer billing problems and reducing the amount of accounts receivables.

- The ability to comply with the regulations requiring a workplace of dignity and respect and equal employment opportunity compliance.

- Willingness to abide by the company's published rules and regulations
- Follow up on all accounts over 90 days old with Insurance Company
- Work with IP staff to file appeals and work denials .
- Pull old UB-04's and 1500's and follow up with insurance companies.
- Assist with monthly write offs and adjustments.
- Intensive filing and retrieving.
- Being Customer Service centric is essential.
- Ability to speak to consumer's regarding their bills and collections letters.
- Ability to work with others.
- Ability to help with other job duties when asked.
- Ability to get along with co-workers.
- Performs other business office duties as assigned by the Billing Office Supervisor.

Education & Experience
- Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years in the area of billing and collection
