Essential duties/Responsibilities (this is not an exhaustive list; other duties may be assigned):
Must be bilingual in English and Spanish and be able to provide behavioral health services profeiciently in communication and written skills
Connect clients with community Resources including but not limited to housing, food stamps, insurance, social security.
Advocate for benefits on behalf of client.
Provide a variety of life skills training to clientele.
Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms.
Understand alcohol and drug assessment, treatment and service terminology and apply these concepts.
Identify, implement, and coordinate the services/supports identified in an Individual Service Plan (ISP) for alcohol and/or drug clients.
Required:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Bachelors degree in social science, behavioral science, or closely related field
- Two-years job related experience
- OR a combination of education and experience
- Valid CPR certification or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire
- Valid CADC-R certification or ability to obtain CADC-R Certification within 90 days of hire
- Valid drivers license
- Successful completion of background check
- Proof of covid vaccine, or religious or medical exception
