Production Manager - Aerosol and Chemical Manufacturing (non-profit)

JOB SUMMARY:

Manages Berkeley manufacturing operations to meet/exceed LHB mission objectives utilizing current best operating practices and in compliance with applicable regulatory, safety and quality requirements. Educate, team build, and facilitate an ongoing Lean Manufacturing System at the Berkeley facility.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES/KNOWLEDGE:

• An experienced manager with manufacturing background, Aerosol manufacturing experience is highly desirable.
• An energetic, forward-thinking, and creative individual with high ethical standards and commitment to the mission.
• Sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment, and strong operational focus.
• Lean/Lean 6 Sigma Management expertise.
• Experienced in project, change and budget management.
• Is well organized, and self-directed.
• Possesses excellent people and communication skills with a track record of proactive personnel/team development.

EDUCATION AND EPERIENCE:

• Masters degree preferred. Bachelors degree or equivalent.
• 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, required.
• Experience in a non-profit environment a plus.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Production Supervisor

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:

Lean/Lean Six Sigma preferred.
