JOB TITLE: Project Coordinator
DEPARTMENT: Operations
SUPERVISOR: Director of Project Management
SUMMARY:
The Project Coordinator provides support to the Project Management team, ensuring assigned tasks are completed timely and accurately for national lighting and electrical projects. This position is responsible for understanding and adhering to project requirements and customer expectations and meeting task deadlines as assigned by the Project Managers. The Project Coordinator exemplifies exceptional customer focus, communicates professionally and timely with internal and external stakeholders, and ensures projects are completed on time and within budget.
This position must conform to all corporate policies and procedures and uphold ethical standards. This position will embody Lightserve’ s core values, exemplifying them with the utmost integrity. Employee will represent Lightserve and their department with the highest regard in both external and internal communications, ensuring a standard of excellence in all interactions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supports project management activities as assigned by the Project Manager.
- Ensures tasks are completed accurately and timely in coordination with project schedule.
- Orders and tracks material, manages equipment rental, and coordinates recycling logistics.
- Assists in ensuring project documents are complete, current, and stored
- Identifies opportunities for growth and improvement while making constructive suggestions for
- Assists in designing, communicating, and implementing an operational plan for project completion; monitors progress and performance against project plan and resolves operational problems in support of Project Manager.
- Assists Project Manager with the management of vendors and/or contractors assigned to the project; ensures on-time completion and margin adherence.
- Proficiently works within ARC, maintaining proper job notes for effective inter-departmental
- Maintains client status documents that includes scope of work documentation, material allocation, and financial budget.
- Supports other departments as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:Education and Certifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent work
Required Qualifications:
- Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance
- Ability to assist in troubleshooting and resolution of recurring
- Experience in project management
- Ability to maintain a professional presence with all vendors, customers, colleagues, and senior
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with several competing
- Ability to navigate multiple computer system windows, applications, and utilize search tools to find
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills (verbal and written).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel, occasionally
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum three (3) years of project coordinator
- Previous experience and proven success in managing turnkey (i.e., sustainable energy, retrofit, and new construction)
- Prior experience in customer-facing
- Experience with data analysis and spreadsheet
- Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or
- Commercial and/or Industrial lighting
