Forklift Operator and Packaging Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile individual to join our production team as a forklift operator and packaging specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment, as well as packaging and wrapping completed products.
Your key responsibilities will include assisting other production areas as needed, accurately completing the Bagger production report, filling pellet sample cups every ton for quality control information, and tagging pallets with Quality Control tags. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean workstation and operating machinery in a productive manner.
To excel in this role, applicants should have a High School diploma or GED, good mechanical aptitude, and strong math calculation abilities. Prior experience with forklifts, production lines, and packaging equipment is preferred. Additionally, applicants must be able to pass the company's forklift training program.
This is a full-time position with a rotating schedule of 6p - 6:30a, Monday through Friday. The starting salary is $18-19/hour, with opportunities for bonuses, paid time off, and benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, and a 401(k) plan with employer match.
