Material Handling Unloader

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Unloader to join our team in a fast-paced distribution center environment. The Unloader will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics process by unloading goods from delivery trucks and preparing them for storage or further distribution. This position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Duties

• Safely unload products from delivery trucks using appropriate equipment such as forklifts.
• Operate heavy equipment while adhering to OSHA safety standards and regulations.
• Inspect incoming shipments for damage and report discrepancies as necessary.
• Organize and store unloaded products in designated areas within the distribution center.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient workflow and meet operational targets.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the unloading area to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Unload Fiber Lasers and sort parts for orders.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred.
• Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues as they arise.
• Ability to lift heavy items (50 pounds plus) and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the shift.
• Understanding of OSHA regulations related to warehouse operations.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on communication and collaboration.
• A strong commitment to safety practices in the workplace.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
