Summary
The VR Developer Integrity Operations (DIO) team collaborates closely with Legal, Design, Engineering, Operations, Product, and Policy teams to ensure our integrity and privacy programs, along with enforcement operations, are robust, efficient, and scalable. We seek individuals who are passionate about integrity, process and operational excellence, the metaverse, and the developers creating content for it.
The Content Operations Manager is knowledgeable about our data policies and integrity compliance requirements, dedicated to delivering best-in-class experiences. They possess a deep understanding of developer ecosystems and platform requirements, focusing on providing a seamless and supported experience for third-party developers. The ideal candidate is curious, empathetic, principled, detail-oriented, and attuned to evolving integrity and privacy standards.
Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and coordinate creative projects with external vendors.
- Oversee communication between internal stakeholders and external vendors, leading project milestones and deliverables.
- Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to internal stakeholders.
- Analyze program scope, technology, resource needs, and market demand to assess project feasibility.
- Review and approve contracts, cost estimates, POs, and budgets.
- Collaborate with Policy, Privacy, Legal, Developer Relations Engineering, TPMs, and Comms teams to identify gaps in resources, education, and experience for third-party developers.
- Propose solutions for identified gaps by working with relevant partners and external vendors, advocating for platform-level solutions to common issues.
- Manage, produce, and distribute reports such as Voice of Developer, monthly reports, retrospectives, business lookbacks, trends, and findings.
- Support the education program's goals by enhancing the experience, growing engagement and awareness, and acting on gathered feedback.
- Manage the post-production lifecycle of assets, including the location and maintenance of educational course links and resources (G2M plans, docs pages, canned responses, store ops, dev support).
- Act as the main point of contact for internal escalations, education, and support regarding the developer experience.
- Manage internal operations and processes for all developer communications with designated points of contact.
- Provide content scope and strategy for our Trusted Developer Essentials program.
- Help shape and promote content standards.
- Develop lightweight, repeatable processes, workflows, and content templates that keep the team agile and successful in a culture that values speed and iteration.
Minimum Qualifications
- Understanding of platform requirements.
- Experience managing confidential data.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Knowledge of business and management principles related to strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
- Experience producing metric-related reports, utilizing dashboards for insights and data gathering.
- Experience managing and organizing multiple large document files with varying deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated, persuasive, and analytical.
- Proficiency in computer programs such as Google Suite, Excel, and project management tools.
- Experience managing creative projects with multiple stakeholders, leading meetings, and creating project milestone plans.
- Experience supporting and growing programs (educational or otherwise).
- Knowledge of educational experiences, engagement and awareness strategies, and copywriting/communications experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting compliance programs.

- Experience with data privacy, platform policies, and app review processes.
- Experience working in a global, large-scale, complex, fast-paced environment and dealing with ambiguity.

Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a technical, liberal arts, legal, or business-related field.
- Experience in developing content.
- Experience in compliance or a regulatory environment (preferred).
- Experience in technology (preferred).
Typical Day in the Role
- Connect with external vendors on project status, gather outstanding requirements, and follow up with internal stakeholders for required inputs.
- Gather insights from the previous month and compile them into a report; identify trends and provide actionable takeaways to improve metrics.
- Propose an educational opportunity to the team, gather alignment, and determine next steps.
- Update existing published guides and inform stakeholders.
- Participate in team activities, such as regular meetings or Friday VR time.
Location: Remote (Bay Area, SF, LA, Seattle, NYC, or TX)
Role type: Contract 12 Month Position
