Summary
We are seeking a Social Marketing Manager to support our social media presence for Artificial Intelligence/Reality Labs. This individual will focus on promoting our narrative around innovation, engaging in content research, achieving engagement goals, and creating content.
Responsibilities
- Generate creative ideas for social media content by identifying trending topics on various platforms.
- Manage the approval process from an international perspective, ensuring correct approval chains are followed.
- Provide first-line feedback based on knowledge and expertise.
- Handle operational tasks, such as managing the editorial calendar and reviewing and approving global content.
- Achieve marketing human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, and coaching employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
- Achieve marketing operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing changes.
- Meet marketing financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Identify marketing opportunities by understanding consumer requirements; defining the market, competitors; share, and competitors; strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; establishing targeted market share.
- Enhance product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities; improving product packaging; coordinating new product development.
- Provide insights by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
- Accomplish marketing and organizational missions by achieving related results as needed.
Basic Qualifications
- Provide creative samples of previous work.
- Experience managing social media content for a brand.
- Experience with cross-functional coordination to scale (working with large cross-functional teams).
- Strong copywriting skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of social media trends and active participation in social media platforms.
- Experience in creating personal social media content.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, considering the scale of the audience.

Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or journalism.
Location: Remote
Role type: Contract 12 Month Position
