Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Billing Specialist who will carry out all phases of legal billing utilizing legal billing software. The specialist compiles, manages, and executes attorney non-narrative billing edits and finalization and posting of invoices. They may also perform a variety of other accounting and bookkeeping duties according to established policies and procedures. Maintains contact with attorneys, staff, vendors and clients and observes confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of electronic billing, as well as accounting methodologies
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- 3 Years experience with electronic billing in a law firm setting
- Previous experience with billing software (ie Orion) and applicable legal applications
- Appropriate educational credentials and certifications are preferred
