Summary:
Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Communications Specialist to join their Business Engineering Communications team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and executing high-profile communication initiatives and product launches. A background in the advertising industry or business media is highly desirable.
The successful candidate will be responsible for devising strategies and managing the day-to-day execution of global public relations programs for monetization products and initiatives. This role is based in either their San Francisco or New York office.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Communications: Design and implement communication strategies and innovative, ongoing storytelling programs that align with strategic objectives and measurable goals.
- Narrative Development: Craft compelling stories about products and their transformative impact on businesses of all sizes.
- Launch Campaigns: Develop communication plans for product launches and other key organizational milestones targeting technology, business, and financial audiences.
- Content Creation: Create engaging materials, including social media posts, blogs, pitches, and other content that highlights key announcements and achievements.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with internal teams—social, marketing, product, research, and legal—to align messaging and deliver cohesive campaigns.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and nurture strong relationships with press, influencers, and other key external stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
- 7 years of experience in business communications, digital communications, or product communications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, or a related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in program and project management.
Preferred Qualifications
- A strong passion for the advertising industry and its role in supporting businesses of all sizes.
- Proven success in executing impactful and creative communication and social programs.
- Relevant experience in financial, business, or advertising public relations.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functions, including engineering, product, and marketing, to develop comprehensive communication plans.
