Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of Clients' health status and medical history to determine eligibility for IV therapy.
- Prepare and administer intravenous infusions in the wellness lounge and during home visits, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor clients during and after IV therapy for any adverse reactions or side effects, documenting vital signs and changes in condition.
- Educate clients about the benefits, risks, and expected outcomes of IV therapy, as well as aftercare and wellness practices.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to promote optimal health and wellness.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of clients assessments, treatments, and progress in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Adhere to infection control protocols to maintain a safe and sterile environment during procedures, both in the lounge and at home.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure continuity of care and address any concerns.
- Provide emotional support and reassurance to clients, creating a comfortable atmosphere during treatment sessions.
- Manage inventory of IV supplies and medications, ensuring adequate stock levels for efficient operation in the lounge and for home visits.
- Conduct home visits to administer IV therapy, monitor patient progress, and provide education in a home setting.
- Collaborate with other team members to coordinate care and share insights from home visits.
- Stay updated on best practices in IV therapy and holistic health trends through ongoing training and professional development.
- Adapt to changing patient needs and treatment protocols, demonstrating flexibility in various care environments.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards, including those related to MDS (Minimum Data Set) assessments.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- IV insertion skills required
- Experience in infusion therapy or relevant clinical settings such as urgent care or clinics is preferred.
- Phlebotomy skills a plus..

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week
