Links Technology is currently seeking a motivated and skilled IT Support Technician II to join our client's team in Englewood, CO. Our client is a leading technology and engineering firm. This is a contract role offering a dynamic work environment and the opportunity to provide essential IT support.
Responsibilities of the IT Support Technician II:
- Setup, configure, repair, and integrate new and existing computing hardware, software, networking, and peripherals.
- Provide basic network support, ensuring full connectivity for desktops and other networked peripherals.
- Perform preventative maintenance and setup for computer-related equipment, including audio-visual conferencing systems and conference rooms.
- Deliver outstanding customer-centered support and service, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Address and resolve IT incidents and service requests, escalating to upper-tier IT teams when necessary.
- Promptly enter, prioritize, track, monitor, update, and close tickets received via the IT Service Desk tracking system, telephone calls, and walk-ups.
- Support organizational efforts and maintain IT Department policies and procedures.
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of local site IT systems documentation.
Qualifications of the IT Support Technician II:
- Associate's Degree in a related field of study.
- 2 years of hands-on experience in IT support.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Experience with audio-visual conferencing systems and conference room setups.
- Familiarity with IT Service Desk systems.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
