Required Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Must maintain enrollment in at least 6 credits at LBCC, maintain satisfactory academic progress throughout each term and maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or better (some positions may require a higher GPA), and have financial aid in place to be eligible to work in a Work Study student employee capacity at Linn-Benton Community College.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends.
- Must be able to work outdoors execute routine tasks related to facility and event set up and take down.
- Must be able to communicate with faculty, staff and students, work well independently and with others.
- Ability to interact sensitively and effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Background and knowledge of sports and sporting events is desirable
- Must be able to operate a computer and/or other office equipment.
- Must be able to work outdoors execute routine tasks related to facility and event set up and take down. Background and knowledge of sports and sporting events is desirable.
Provides assistance to the Athletic Department operations in a variety of capacities, including:
- Game management support
- Facilities monitoring and cleaning;
- General office clerical work
- Special event support
- Support for promotions
- Marketing and communications activities
- Other duties as needed and assigned
