Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager of Sales Operations to lead and optimize our sales operations and customer service functions. Based on experience, this position may be filled at a Director level. This pivotal role will support the sales organization by developing and refining sales processes, overseeing customer service operations, providing critical support to sales leaders, and ensuring the administrative and reporting frameworks align with our strategic goals. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a passion for process improvement, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration.
Position Location:
This full-time position will be based in our American Fork, Utah office. The successful candidate will be primarily be in-office. This position may include some travel.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Operations Leadership:
- Oversee the sales operations function, focusing on continuous process improvement and efficiency.
- Partner with sales leadership to align operational priorities with business goals.
- Provide administrative and strategic support in executing sales initiatives.
Customer Service Management:
- Lead the customer service team to ensure outstanding customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
- Develop and implement processes to improve customer experience and address service challenges.
Sales Process Development:
- Design, document, and improve scalable sales processes to enhance team productivity and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and streamline workflows.
Reporting and Goal Tracking:
- Develop and maintain robust sales reporting frameworks to track performance metrics, identify trends, and support data-driven decisions.
- Collaborate with sales leaders to set realistic goals and provide regular updates on progress.
- Oversee the creation and distribution of dashboards, reports, and analytics to inform strategic decisions.
Collaboration and Cross-Functional Support:
- Act as a liaison between sales, marketing, finance, and other departments to ensure alignment on initiatives and resource allocation.
- Drive adoption of CRM and sales tools, ensuring data accuracy and user engagement.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales operations and customer service team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Experience:
- 7 years of experience in sales operations, customer service management, or related roles.
- Proven leadership in managing teams and cross-functional projects.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in sales analytics, reporting tools, and CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot).
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
