As an Outside Sales Representative at PROOF Hard Ice Cream, you will play a key role in driving sales of our cocktail-inspired, liquor-infused ice cream by building lasting relationships with retailers, bars, restaurants, special event venues, and liquor stores within an assigned territory. You'll promote our product through in-person visits, tastings, and educational presentations — all while ensuring full compliance with local liquor laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Acquisition and Management:
- Identify and cultivate new accounts within assigned territory, including retailers, bars, restaurants, special events venues and liquor stores.
- Maintain relationships and increase sales volume with existing accounts.
- Develop strong rapport with key decision-makers like managers, owners, and beverage directors.
Product Promotion and Education:
- Conduct product demonstrations and tastings to showcase the features and benefits of different liquor infused cocktail inspired ice creams.
- Provide in-depth knowledge about product lines, including flavor profiles, origins, and serving suggestions.
- Educate staff on cocktail recipes and current trends related to the featured cocktail inspired flavors.
Sales Strategy Development:
- Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and adjust sales strategy accordingly.
- Create and implement promotional plans, including pricing strategies and special offers
- Utilize all targeted sales presentations tailored to individual customer needs.
Compliance and Legal Requirements:
- Strictly adhere to all local and state liquor laws regarding sales, promotions, and customer identification.
- Ensure responsible serving practices and monitor customer intoxication levels.
Required Skills:
- Sales Acumen- A proven track record of closing deals, negotiating pricing, and managing a sales pipeline effectively.
- Product Knowledge- Deep understanding of different liquor infused flavors brands, package sizes, and production methods.
