We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Front Desk Clerk/Night Auditor to join our team at our resort. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations during the night shift. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently while maintaining guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Greet and check-in guests upon arrival, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
- Perform night audit duties, including balancing accounts and preparing financial reports for management.
- Manage phone systems effectively, responding to calls promptly and providing accurate information.
- Maintain accurate records of guest transactions and ensure all data is entered correctly into the hotel management system.
- Assist with reservations, cancellations, and modifications as needed.
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance guest experience and resolve any issues that may arise during their stay.
- Nightly laundry is required.
- Breakfast prep.
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service is preferred.
- Strong phone etiquette skills to communicate effectively with guests over the phone.
- Familiarity with night audit processes is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with guests and team members alike.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
