Job Overview:
Join our team as a passionate Preschool Teacher who adores working with children! We are seeking a dedicated individual to play a vital role in our preschool program. As a Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where young minds can grow and develop.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise small groups of children in the classroom and during outdoor activities.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum.
- Support children's learning by facilitating engaging activities throughout the day.
- Model positive language and behavior for the children.
- Assist in documenting classroom activities and children's progress.
- Communicate any child concerns or family needs to the management team.
- Ensure punctuality, preparedness, and active participation in teaching activities.
- Manage classroom setup, learning centers, and cleanliness.
- Prepare materials and supplies for daily activities.
- Assist children with bathroom needs, including diapering and dressing.
- Lead circle time, story time, and music sessions.
- Actively engage in team planning and training sessions.
Skills:
- Experience in toddler care, nannying, or babysitting.
- Proficiency in behavior management techniques.
- Knowledge of special education practices is advantageous.
- Background in early childhood education or related field.
- Ability to work effectively with young students.
- Familiarity with infant care practices.
- Strong classroom management skills.
Requirements:
- Preferred: Early Childhood Education (ECE) units.
- Current vaccination records and TB screening.
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification (Current).
- Clear live scan background check (Current).
- Completion of Mandated Reporter training (Current).
