What are the responsibilities and job description for the Montessori Elementary Classroom Assistant position at Little Oak Montessori School?
Little Oak Montessori School, in the beautiful Columbia Gorge in White Salmon, WA - is looking for an Assistant Guide to support an Elementary (1st-6th) classroom for the 2025-26 school year.
Montessori training is an asset, but we are willing to train the right individual for this position.
As an Assistant Guide, you will work closely with our Lead Guide to prepare and maintain a harmonious Montessori environment. You will have opportunities to help observe student behavior and work choices, model grace & courtesy and peaceful social interactions, assist children in the development of their independence, and support and contribute to a warm and calming learning environment.
Position Details:
- Start Date: August 2025
- Full-time Monday-Friday, 7:30am-3:30pm
- CPR/First Aid certification (required within first 90 days)

- Hourly wage: $21-23, depending on experience
