What are the responsibilities and job description for the Floater Teacher position at Little Okie Academy?
We are currently looking to fill our part time Floater Teacher position at Little Okie Academy. This position is primarily responsible for taking over classrooms while teachers go on their lunch breaks. This position will be approximately 10:15am-5:15pm.
Preschool hours are from 7:00am-5:30pm, Monday - Friday.
CPR/First Aid certification is a plus but not required. Must be willing to pass a background check.
Job responsibilities and teacher characteristics include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Observe and monitor children's play activities.
- Keep records on individual children, including daily observations and information about activities, meals served, and behavior, as needed.
- Instruct children in health and personal habits such as eating, resting, and toilet habits.
- Organize and participate in recreational activities, such as games.
- Assist in preparing food for children and serve meals and refreshments to children and regulate rest periods.
- Keep room clean and tidy daily.

- Must be 18 or older
