Position Summary:
Manufacturing – Process Engineer completes process equipment projects and activities on the shop floor. Focus areas: Continuous improvement activities to meet business unit cost and productivity targets. Layout, process and technology projects to optimize the shop floor operation to ensure safety quality cost and delivery efficiencies.

Education, Certifications, and Experience:
- Degree in manufacturing engineering, industrial technology, operations management, or related field required.
- Experience with CI / Lean tools and methodologies, Green or Black belt preferred.
- Experience with ISO9001 and FDA environment is preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing or converting is preferred.
- Proficient with Solid works or CAD software
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
- JDE, SAP or similar experience helpful.
Key Competencies:
- Result oriented and operates with a sense of urgency.
- Able to effectively communicate at all organizational levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and working knowledge of ERP systems (preferably JDE). CAD, production monitoring systems, Business intelligence systems.
- Automation, robotics, preferred.
Physical Requirements:
The ability to work in a normal manufacturing environment to include sitting, standing, or walking for long periods of time; climbing stairs; operating various standard office equipment; carrying paper documents/files; reaching; bending; twisting; crawling; speaking on the telephone, etc. Position may require some travel – Valid driver’s license is required. This position requires regular attendance at work.
The ability to wear required personal protection gear (i.e. hearing, eye and foot protection as well as other personal protective equipment such as gloves and aprons, etc.); tolerating loud noise (maximum of 95 dB); tolerating extreme heat, cold and dusty environment.
