Customer Service Representative (CSR) - Mobile Team
*The applicant must be comfortable with driving large RV size vehicles and have a clean driving record.*
JOB SUMMARY
Under the direct supervision of the Mobile Team Coordinator, the Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for front office day-to-day activities including answering phones, scheduling appointments, registration of patients, collection of patient payments, filing charts, pulling charts for lab and x-ray reports and other customer service representative duties and mobile team duties as requested.

Under the direct supervision of the Mobile Team Coordinator, the Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for front office day-to-day activities including answering phones, scheduling appointments, registration of patients, collection of patient payments, filing charts, pulling charts for lab and x-ray reports and other customer service representative duties and mobile team duties as requested.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include, however, are not limited to:
- Greets patients, staff, and visitors in a pleasant, professional manner.
- Demonstrates the ability to establish and maintain effective, productive relations with co-workers, supervisors, patients, and the public.
- Daily appointment scheduling, answers incoming calls, makes patient appointment reminder calls, retrieval of medical records.
- Maintains a neat/well organized work area. Responsible for maintaining an adequate amount of supplies are available on the mobile unit at all times.
- Documents that are part of the medical record are electronically scanned and filed on a daily basis.
- Keep medical records room and front office in neat order.
- Registers and/or updates patient demographic information into the patients account system on a daily basis.
- Enters patient encounter data (charges) into the patient accounting system at the end of the patient visit on a daily basis.
- Collects and enters patient payments.
- Maintains an accurate daily patient activity report which includes a record of scheduled, no-show, re-scheduled, and canceled patient appointments and provides a monthly activity report to the supervisor.
- Certification and/or re-certification of patients who qualify for sliding fee (SFS) based upon established criteria.
- Ability to display flexibility as patient flow changes.
- Ability to accurately perform arithmetic tasks.
- Attends all in-service training as required, including trainings related to the mobile unit(s).
- A member of the mobile team that transports the mobile unit (RV) to and from community events and/or patient’s homes.
- Preforms pre and post driving checks for the mobile unit to ensure that the mobile unit is in good operation condition prior to leaving the site.
- Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
- Maintains Center confidentiality and Code of Compliance per policy.
- Maintain quality assurance standards and comply with applicable HIPAA regulations.
- Reports any incidents immediately to the supervisor.
- Performs other duties, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

- Must possess an active and valid driver’s license in the State of South Carolina.
- Must have a clean 10-year driving record.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or GED.
- Experience driving/transporting large vehicles such as an RV or Bus. CDL's are not required.
- Medical Customer Service experience is a plus.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
