Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities, providing high-quality behavioral health services. You will develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), ensuring that each client receives personalized care to improve their quality of life.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the needs and strengths of clients.
- Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on data-driven analysis.
- Monitor client progress through regular data collection and analysis, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to client care.
- Provide training and support to staff and caregivers in implementing behavior strategies effectively.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Stay current with best practices in ABA and contribute to ongoing professional development.
Experience
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst is required.
- Experience working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Strong background in special education or behavioral health is a plus.
- Proficiency in data collection methods and experience managing medical records is essential.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective collaboration with clients, families, and team members.
- A patient-centered approach to care is essential, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards clients' needs.
