Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing behavior intervention strategies to improve the quality of life for clients. The BCBA will work collaboratively with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure effective service delivery.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify behavioral challenges and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based interventions based on applied behavior analysis principles.
- Monitor client progress through data collection and analysis to adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including special education professionals and healthcare providers, to coordinate care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide training and support to staff and caregivers on behavior management techniques.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in behavioral health.
Requirements
- Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA) is required.
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis techniques and principles.
- Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities or special education needs.
- Proficiency in patient assessment, medical documentation, and data collection methods.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with clients, families, and professionals.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Previous experience in behavioral health settings is preferred.
- Mandarin speaking preferred
