Looking for a board-certified behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide 6 hours a week of intensive treatment for a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder in Bayside, NY.
The ideal candidate will be able to develop clients' treatment plans, as well as supervise Behavior Technicians to implement such plans. Behavior Technicians will rely on their BCBA to assist them in overcoming challenges and answer questions about their day-to-day client interactions.
Solid communication skills and openness to feedback are necessary. The BCBA should be organized, and self-sufficient to successfully perform in this role. Flexible Schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, including the VB-MAPP, AFLS, ABLLS, and FBAs, in the home, school, and/or community
- Design behavior plans and interventions for individual clients based on assessment results and ongoing data analysis
- Supervise ongoing ABA programs, assess the performance of programs, and adjust as necessary
- Provide ABA training for parents and other caregivers
- Collaborate with and manage Behavior Technician staff
- Manage electronic data regarding the client’s progress
- BCBAs/LBAs may have the option to provide hybrid services.
Requirements:
- Must be currently certified as a BCBA with the Behavior Analytic Certification Board.
- Two years of postgraduate clinical experience preferred but not mandatory.
