- Effectively manage security department, Op Tech and Grant Management budget
- Responsible for the organization of district radio repairs, orders, and programming to include stocking batteries and other accessories.
- Responsible for training school staff on radio operations.
- Responsible for ensuring the School Safe Radio system is operatable in all schools to ensure connections during emergency situations.
- Develops and maintains training programs for all SACC Programs.
- Installs and maintains card access system to ensure staff have the correct access to buildings including maintaining badging equipment
- Maintains video requests to ensure videos are stored safely and appropriately distributed.
- Maintain certification in the AVTEC system to troubleshoot problems, upgrade software and programs GUI/daily used systems attached to AVTEC
- Responsible for requesting quotes and working with vendors to order and purchase district cameras and other security supplies as needed.
- Responsible or processing department expenses and paying invoices on time.
- Responsible for completing and submitting monthly payroll.
- Oversee and manage the DSO revolving schedule to include coverage for vacations and sick time.
- Responsible for scheduling and documenting all required safety/security drills and training districtwide.
- Responsible for conducting Lockdown drills and evaluating its success with School Administration.
- Assists the Director of Security in the development of the Standard Operating Practices
- Assist with developing emergency response training programs for staff and students
- Provides security briefings to PTO groups at the schools
- Responsible for documenting and organizing all department After Action Reviews (AARs).
- Manage and distribute the SchoolDude work orders system for the Security Department.
- Cover District Security Officer duties as needed or assigned.
- Coordinate Emergency Response duties during emergencies.
- Consistent Schedules: Efforts will be made to maintain consistent employee schedules; however, occasional schedule adjustments may be necessary.
- Versatile Shifts: Staff are expected to be proficient in working between 7:00am – 7:00pm.
- Schedule Changes: Recognizing the dynamic nature of our operations, the Security Officer Facilitator/Technician must be aware that their schedules could be subject to change based on factors such as staff illness, staff training, and staff vacations or based on a management decision.
- Overtime Considerations: Shift adjustments may occur with the goal of minimizing overtime within the department. Flexibility in accepting changes is crucial to promoting efficient use of resources.
- Continuous Operations: The Security Office Facilitator/Technician must understand the necessity of someone covering each shift, particularly during holidays, to ensure uninterrupted security coverage and the safety of the school community.
- Cross Training: This will be cross-trained in each area in the Security Dispatch Center.

This position is a full-time (8 hour) 253 calendar position. We are hiring one position that will be assigned to Education Service Center.
Hourly Base Pay: $29.03 - Pay for the 10 months is spread out over the 12 months in a year. Additional compensation is based on relavent experience.
Days of the week: This position is primarily Monday - Friday.
Shift Hours: The time schedule will be determined upon hire.

Sick Time: One 8 hour day per month for 10 months (80 hours annually)
Personal Days: 2 - 8 hour Personal Days (16 hours annually)
Position Purpose
Plan, direct or coordinate one or more administrative services of an organization, such as records and information management, security services coordination, training and coordination of staff and students, vendor relations, emergency preparedness, security technology and practices. Provide technical support to end users on radio technologies and ensure smooth operations of electronic communications including the School Safe radio system.
Essential Duties:
Maintain a Colorado Driver’s license and maintain eligibility to be covered under the district’s self –insurance pool
