Our Role:
Venue Security Officer
Job Functions:
- Circulate among guests and/or employees to preserve safety, order and to protect the venue property.
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, guests, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security and safety of the premises.
- May write reports and/or contact logs of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
- Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas.
- Warn persons of rule infractions or violations and apprehend or evict violators from premises.
Qualifications:
- Evening availability required . Typical shows run from 5pm - 11:30pm.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
- Security/Event/Law Enforcement experience preferred.
- Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance; ability to make independent and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills is a must.
- Acute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacy.
- A strong-sense of teamwork and ability to execute tasks assigned by management and supervisors.
- Position requires occasional sitting, constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 75 lbs. alone or up to 200lbs as a team.
- Must be comfortable working in a crowded environment with noise occasionally reaching 100 dBa, flashing lights and darkness.
Applicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization which does not require sponsorship by the employer for a visa.
Starting pay is $20.00 hourly. Pay may scale depending on previous experience.

The expected compensation for this position is:
