We are on a mission to be America’s small business bank. Our deposits help fund loans for small businesses across the country. As an Associate Deposit Operations Specialist, Front Desk, you help fuel the growth of small businesses. The Associate Deposit Operations Specialist, Front Desk is the face of the bank who is responsible for providing excellent service to those who seek assistance by phone, email, or in person at our corporate headquarters. While maintaining organization of the bank’s lobby and handling customer interactions you will also play a critical role with executing essential deposit functions including deposits, withdrawals, cashier’s checks and payments.
The Associate Deposit Operations Specialist, Front Desk is a designated essential employee and may be required to be available after hours, and to work either in the office or remotely during inclement weather or a disaster scenario.
What You’ll Do at Live Oak
- Maintain knowledge and understanding of bank policies and procedures
- Perform essential front desk duties including greeting walk in clients, answering phone calls, and maintaining organization in the bank lobby
- Process deposits, payments, and withdrawals for clients
- Assist clients and Live Oak Bank employees with cashier’s check requests
- Generate and mail CD maturity notices
- Review and process daily proof work
- Submit department invoices for approval
- Handle incoming and outgoing shipments and mail

- Follow regulatory requirements including those pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Customer Identification Program (CIP), and OFAC to assist in the identification, detection, and determent of money laundering or other unlawful activities
Required and Preferred Experience
- Customer service experience required
- Banking and teller experience preferred
- College degree preferred

The base pay range for this position is $19.23 - $31.25 per hour. Compensation may also include annual bonuses and long-term incentives, subject to various metrics and company policy.
