Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Billing Manager to oversee our billing operations and ensure timely and accurate invoicing. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage a team.
The Billing Manager will create and maintain billing policies and procedures, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and develop strategies to improve billing efficiency and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the billing process and ensure accurate and timely invoicing of clients
- Develop and maintain billing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve billing efficiency and accuracy and implement strategies to achieve these goals
- Review and analyze billing data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient billing operations
- Respond to billing inquiries and resolve billing issues as needed
- Prepare and present billing reports to senior management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in billing or accounting
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Familiarity with billing software and systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to billing and collections
- Experience in healthcare/home care billing is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
