Open your home and heart to someone in need! Become a Relief Shared Living Provider with Living Innovations, a leader in supporting individuals with disabilities for over 20 years. As a Relief Shared Living Provider, you will provide temporary/intermittent shared living services to individuals while promoting their independence and community involvement. If you believe you have the time, space, and compassion to assist people, then this could be the right opportunity for you!
What to Expect:
- Careful Matching: We'll work with you to find an individual who is a good fit for your home and lifestyle.
- Flexibility: No contracts or long-term commitment. Provide care when it works for you.
- Steady Side Income: Get paid to strengthen your community. We have regular needs for these services throughout the state of Maine.
- Dedicated Support: A Community Living Coordinator will provide ongoing support and guidance.
- Compensation: Receive a daily stipend (tax-exempt).
- Training: You'll receive training as a Direct Support Professional, First Aid certification, and any additional training needed.
Requirements:
- Must pass background checks.
- Must be 18 or older.
- Valid state issued driver’s license, current vehicle insurance declaration and vehicle registration.
- Wheelchair accessibility is a plus
