Instructor LNA/HHA experience required

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Instructor to join our academic team. Must have Home Health Aide and LNA experience.. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and fostering an engaging learning environment for students. This role involves developing curriculum, utilizing learning technologies, and providing academic advising to support student success. The Instructor will play a key role in shaping the educational experience and ensuring that students achieve their academic goals.

Duties

• Deliver curriculum that aligns with educational standards and meets the needs of diverse learners.
• Conduct research to stay current with developments in the field and integrate relevant findings into lesson plans.
• Utilize learning technologies to enhance instructional delivery and facilitate student engagement.
• Design instructional materials that support effective teaching strategies and promote active learning.
• Manage classroom dynamics effectively, ensuring a positive and inclusive environment for all students.
• Plan lessons that are structured, engaging, and aligned with course objectives.
• Provide academic advising to students, guiding them in their educational journey and helping them navigate resources.
• Assess student performance through various evaluation methods, providing constructive feedback to foster improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Hime health and long term care.
• Familiarity with learning technologies.
• Strong classroom management skills with a focus on creating an inclusive learning environment.
• Experience working with students in an educational setting is highly desirable.
• Excellent lesson planning abilities that cater to different learning styles and needs.
• Strong research skills to inform teaching practices and curriculum development.
• Ability to provide effective academic advising to support student success.
• A commitment to continuous professional development and staying current in the field of education.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.67 - $22.62 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
