Key Responsibilities :
- Project Oversight : Manage the daily operations of electrical construction projects, ensuring all work is completed on schedule and to specification.
- Team Leadership : Supervise and motivate field crews, assign tasks, and ensure compliance with safety protocols and efficient working practices.
- Scheduling & Coordination : Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating with project managers, subcontractors, and other trades to avoid delays.
- Quality Assurance : Monitor work quality, conduct inspections, and promptly address any deficiencies to maintain the highest standards of workmanship.
- Safety Compliance : Enforce OSHA guidelines and company safety policies through regular meetings, inspections, and corrective actions as needed.
- Material & Equipment Management : Ensure availability and proper maintenance of all tools, materials, and equipment while managing inventory and procurement needs.
- Cost Control : Monitor budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and address cost overruns with the project manager.
- Stakeholder Communication : Serve as the on-site contact for clients, project managers, and other stakeholders, keeping them updated on project progress and addressing concerns.
- Problem-Solving : Proactively identify and resolve on-site issues, such as design discrepancies or resource shortages, to keep projects on track.
- Reporting & Documentation : Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, progress reports, and project records for tracking and future reference.
- Project Close-Out : Ensure all electrical work is completed to specifications, assist with final inspections, and prepare close-out documentation.
