Job Summary
The House Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of a residential care facility, ensuring that residents receive the highest standard of care and support. Responsibilities
- Learn and assist in compliance with rules and regulation required under 245D.
- Supervise and help train staff to ensure quality care is provided to all residents.
- Monitor and assist with medication administration as needed.
- Give input into individualized care plans for residents, focusing on their unique needs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the home.
- Facilitate meal preparation that meets dietary requirements and preferences of residents.
- Provide direct support to residents, assisting with daily living activities and personal care.
- Conduct regular assessments of resident health and well-being, including patient monitoring.
- Monitor and audit documentation of resident care, goals, and well being.
- Maintain positive communication with residents and coworkers.
Experience
- Previous experience in a group home or senior care environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and patient monitoring techniques.
- Experience in meal preparation tailored to specific dietary needs is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and staff members.
- Ability to provide direct support in a compassionate manner while maintaining professionalism.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.25 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
