What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Assistant position at Lone Star Paving?
Lone Star Paving was formed in 2013 as a paving contractor, operating from Waco to Laredo and covering the entire Central Texas region. Its capabilities include a labor force comprised of approx. 500 employees and 19 locations between Austin and San Antonio. We employ workers on paving crews, aggregate, trucking, milling, and quality control and complete a variety of maintenance projects such as asphalt repairs, concrete repairs, sealcoating, crack sealing and striping.
Position Overview
The IT Assistant will work with the IT Team to ensure maintenance support for web applications, programming, and development. The ideal candidate is familiar with IT systems and has a thorough understanding of relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance and support for custom web applications including Lone Star Estimating, Jobs, Production, and Sales
- Integration programming support and development
- Future custom application development
Qualifications
- 1 year experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent training completed

- Entry Level Position
Working Conditions
- Work will be performed in hybrid office/home setting- must be in Austin area
- Requires periodic participation and attendance at company events and meetings
