Ideal candidate qualities include:
- Minimum 2 years Irrigation Repair Service
- TCEQ license (Irrigation Technician or Licensed Irrigator) is a plus, but not required.
- A strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Reliable, honest, and present a professional image.
- Strong communication skills, with both customer and team.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform all repairs related to irrigation
- Programming of controllers for customers
- Comfortable communicating estimates in person or via email
- Create and give customer invoice and collect payment on site
- Responsible for keeping organized and filing (turn in) all relevant paperwork
- Responsible for organizing and keeping clean: tools, parts, and vehicle
- Valid current driver’s license and responsible driving habits
- Some computer, email, and phone app use required
- Positive attitude and comfortable answering questions and explaining work performed to customers
- Fluent in both written and verbal English, additionally fluency in Spanish is a plus
Licenses and Certification
TX Driver License - Required
TCEQ Licensed Irrigation - Preferred (Irrigation Technician or Licensed Irrigator)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS (all required to be done for up to 8 hours or more a day):
Good physical condition is a requirement for this position. Technicians must be able to bend, crouch, lift and move up to 75 pounds. Technicians need to be able to work in the elements including exposure to Texas heat. Techs are required to be able to use all necessary hand tools and occasionally use trenchers.
Salary: $600 - $1250 Weekly (Commision – based on production)
