What are the responsibilities and job description for the Boat Maintenance Specialist position at Long Lake Marina?
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to help with routine boat/motor maintenance during May, June, July, August, Sept, and the first part of Oct. Our mechanic on staff will help train to tackle more involved repairs. Lots of outside work! Will pay for gas/travel to and from marina in Long Lake, NY. Small family owned business for 50 years. Good summer work environment!
Responsibilities
- Basic service on outboards or I/O's
- Hauling boats by trailer from water to shop and shop to water. Hauling boats out of storage in the spring and storing boats in the fall.
- Filling out work orders (with helpful guidance).
- Helping to keep our rental fleet up and running.
- The possibility of helping a staff member in the boathouse on the water. Fun job!
- A great job for someone looking to learn a new trade or for someone who already has boat motor knowledge but want to expand their skills.
Because we are a small business, we provide a family type atmosphere.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.42 - $21.56 per hour
Expected hours: 25 per week
