Administrative Assistant – Aspire Program
Lorain County Community College’s Aspire Program seeks a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support GED and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) services. This role ensures smooth program operations through administrative support, communication, scheduling, and data management.

Administrative Assistant – Aspire Program
Lorain County Community College’s Aspire Program seeks a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support GED and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) services. This role ensures smooth program operations through administrative support, communication, scheduling, and data management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to program staff, students, and partners
- Manage communications, scheduling, and logistics for classes, events, and meetings
- Maintain accurate records and data in the Aspire LACES CRM system
- Utilize multiple online platforms to accomplish daily tasks
- Coordinate classroom and event arrangements
- Assist with contracts, reports, and confidential documentation
- Support onboarding and training of new staff
- Serve as a liaison among instructors, staff, and external agencies
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred
- 2–3 years of administrative experience (4 years preferred)
- Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills
- Experience with data entry and document management
