A high-end plaintiff-side law firm seeks to hire for its Wilmington, DE office (attorneys expected in the office three days weekly) an experienced commercial or Chancery litigation associate for a role focused on Delaware Chancery litigation matters. Previous Chancery experience is not required. Admission to the DE bar is also not required at the start, but if not already admitted an attorney would need to take the bar. Their innovative Chancery group focuses on a diversified mix of M&A litigation, corporate governance litigation, and shareholder derivative litigation. The firm features an impressive set of attorneys, offers good mentorship, women leadership, young leadership, and a significant number of trials; attorneys typically work about twenty-two hundred hours annually; and the salary is likely one hundred eighty to two hundred thousand or so, depending on class year and relevant experience, plus a purely discretionary bonus (typically ranging from five to twenty or so thousand). I have close ties with the firm and have placed more than forty attorneys there.
