What are the responsibilities and job description for the EIDBI Level I Provider position at Lotus Care Autism Center?
Job Overview
Lotus Care MN Autism Center is seeking compassionate and dedicated Level 1 EIDBI Providers to join our program. As a Level 1 EIDBI Provider, you will work one-on-one with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to improve their communication, social interaction, and problem-solving skills. The primary responsibility will be implementing personalized care plans created by the BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst).
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement patient care plans as outlined by the BCBA, ensuring fidelity to ABA therapy techniques.
- Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions to improve communication, social skills, and behavior.
- Maintain accurate records and participate in data collection to monitor client progress.
- Attend care conferences and collaborate with clients' families and the care team.
- Provide observation and direction to Level II providers.
- Offer intervention services based on the client’s Individualized Treatment Plan (ITP).
- Participate in required clinical supervision and maintain direct client contact.
- Apply positive behavior management techniques and communicate effectively with the team.
Position Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- Must qualify as an EIDBI Level I provider through the MN Department of Human Services.
- Ability to complete all required training for the role
Qualifications:
- Have a doctoral or master’s degree from an accredited college or university in behavioral health, child development, or a related field (e.g., mental health, special education, social work, psychology, speech pathology, occupational therapy, health science, education, sociology, nursing, human services, counseling, family studies).
- Complete or currently be enrolled in a master’s degree program at an accredited college or university in behavioral health, child development, or a related field (e.g., mental health, special education, social work, psychology, speech pathology, occupational therapy, health science, education, sociology, nursing, human services, counseling, family studies).
