DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIEs
- Oversee Team Member performance and train all new team members.
- Verify chemical inventory and perform chemical testing daily.
- Ensure that Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed.
- Inspect equipment for compliance with federal and state sanitation laws and plant standards.
- Direct and assign cleaning of equipment and work areas.
- Inspect premises for unsanitary practices and conditions.
- Interpret company policies to team members and enforce safety regulations.
- Analyze and resolve work problems or assist team members in solving work problems.
- Perform inspections on plant equipment, create proper documentation, and release the various areas in a timely manner.
- Assist the Sanitation supervisor with special projects as needed.
- Support multiple line changeovers to ensure proper cleaning is performed, staff are utilized efficiently, and appropriate departments are notified for support in a timely matter.
- Train production leads, operators, and crew on effective sanitation practices in a timely matter.
- Train, manage, clean, and troubleshoot sanitation equipment including but not limited to floor scrubber, COP tank, parts washer, dry steam, foamer, vacuums, etc.
- Manage 6S and inventory of sanitation tools, line-specific tooling, and equipment.
- Ensures equipment is taken apart completely and organized, followed by guaranteeing proper reassembly of equipment and line.
