Responsibilities

• Manage the month end close process and ensure that all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and review financial transactions for accuracy.
• Work with auditors and other assurance providers to ensure that all financial records are compliant with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
• Prepare and present financial reports to management, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Manage billing and accounts receivable, ensuring that invoices are accurate and payments are received in a timely manner.
• Oversee the general ledger and ensure that all transactions are properly recorded.
• Manage financial aspects of construction projects, including cost tracking and analysis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA certification preferred (a plus but not required)
• 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and other regulatory requirements
• Proficient in excel a must
• Knowledge of foundation software a plus
